Hi, it's Laura, remember me? Colby's Mom. Anyway, so after living in apartments for years, it was nice to be able to grow and maintain a garden! Check out the lone red tomato, it reminded me of the one Christmas ball on Charlie Brown's pathetic little tree. But we have also grown and eaten some cucumbers, which was pretty exciting. It is very rewarding to plant something, watch it grow and then eat it :)

Nicely done. Our cucumbers have caught some form of plague and are dying. Rapidly. Perhaps healthy vegetation is a birthday gift ... from the earth.
